Safety Professionals, Inc. offers comprehensive industrial hygiene and industrial safety consulting services to clients in South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina and the Southeastern region of the U.S. Safety Professionals, Inc. is based in Aiken, South Carolina between Augusta, Georgia and Columbia, South Carolina allowing us to rapidly respond to client needs within this region. With over 55 years of combined experience working in the Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) field, we can provide virtually any EH&S service you may require. Founded in 1996, Safety Professionals, Inc. has built its reputation on providing rapid and reliable solutions to occupational and environmental health problems. We understand that these occupational and environmental health issues demand expert attention in a timely fashion from "recognition through evaluation to control".

All professional services are performed by or under the direction of our senior staff members who are certified in the comprehensive practice of industrial hygiene (CIH) by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene, credentialed as Certified Safety Professionals (CSPs) by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, Certified as Hazardous Materials Managers by the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management, or who are registered as Professional Engineers. Our staff also includes Certified Lead Consultants; EPA Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) trained Building Inspectors, Management Planners, Project Designers, Air Samplers/Consultants and Contractor Supervisors; and certified radiation protection technologists.

Analytical services, when required, are performed at qualified laboratories.  Industrial hygiene sample analyses are performed in laboratories accredited by the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA).  All asbestos bulk samples are analyzed in laboratories accredited by the National Institute of Standards.  Lead-based paint or bulk samples are analyzed at AIHA-accredited laboratories that participate in the Environmental Lead Laboratory Accreditation Program.  All microbial samples are analyzed by trained, experienced microbiologists in laboratories that participate in the AIHA Environmental Microbiology Proficiency Analytical Testing Program.  Hazardous waste analyses are performed in appropriately qualified laboratories.
